We matched! Yatta! This is my first year doing this exchange, but I have some pals on the sports anime circuit who have participated and as of writing this I have now officially watched enough sports anime to fill the requisite three (3) fandoms for signups, so here we are!

Oh god I love Haikyuu so much you guys. I need a second. Most of this is from my Chocolate Box letter (which also contains stuff pertaining more to ships, if that's something you're interested in), but I like so many things about Haikyuu and so many combinations of the characters I requested that you could honestly write anything and I'd be bouncing off the walls.
All of the Karasuno boys are idiots with no regard for personal safety so like all I'm saying is I would not object to light injuryfic. Nothing permanent, obviously, and not gratuitously angsty, but I always like seeing characters be worried about each other/taking care of each other/quietly but firmly telling each other to look after themselves. I LOVE first-years-as-third-years. I love fics that pay attention to the volleyball aspect and talk about, like, matches and cool moves and stuff on top of the actual human feelings, but also fics that just talk about the feelings are 100000% valid.
Karasuno is my bias by a mile, but I absolutely wouldn't object to you bringing in characters from other teams; Tsukishima's dynamic with Bokuto or Hinata's dynamic with Aone (or Goshiki, because Goshiki/Hinata is valid as hell) or Shimizu's dynamic with Shirofuku, for example, are extremely good and welcome.
Really, though, any of these relationships + any of my ODAO is guaranteed to delight me. HQ is occupying a particularly big space in my heart right now, so the stakes are very low.
Also uh. Fire Emblem AU? Persona 5 AU? HECK yeah.

Ping Pong is my favorite anime in this entire universe and I love all of the characters listed above with a vengeance, especially Peco. I’m fine with anything on the timeline, pre- or peri- or post-canon, or the window between Smile and Peco’s match and the final five-year timeskip, or anything, really. Smile/Peco is easily my favorite ship but their friendship is also wonderful, so don’t feel pressured to tread romance territory if you don’t want to!
I also find Wenge devastatingly interesting and the notion of him having something of a friendship with Peco and Smile (especially Peco, on the Olympic circuit) down the line makes me deeply happy. I’m super fond of this art if that gives you any inspiration for the kind of Vibes that will warm my cold heart.
I’d love to read something about what Smile and Peco’s relationship is like when they’re adults and what it’s like for Smile to see Peco competing in the Olympics, and what happens if/when Peco ever comes back to their little island. Do the two of them meet up again at Tamura Table Tennis? How do Obaba and Smile get along after Peco leaves? They seem to be pretty close after the timeskip, and since Peco was always Obaba’s favorite, I’d love to get a glimpse of what her interactions must have been like with Smile, who she also loves in her own way!
Also requested Koizumi, not with any particular prompts in mind, but I just love him and I love his banter with Smile. The detail at the end of the series about him inviting Smile over for hot pot—and being so excited—and calling him Makoto!!!—made me cry.
Not all of these characters need to be there, so no pressure! If you write PPTA for me I will be replete with joy and gratitude. It’s truly my favorite series ever and any content for it will make me so, so happy!

This is a canon that I don't have any particular prompts for, really... anything focusing on the ships/friendships above would be so welcome, but I also love every character so reading about any of them interacting would make me so happy! What happens after the Hakone Ekiden? Does Kakeru go to the Olympics, do they all cheer him on, HAVE HE AND HAIJI ADMITTED THEY ARE IN LOVE YET?
I'm also deeply into the implication in the most recent ep that YUKI IS HAIJI'S BEST FRIEND? Maybe this was just King being sad and lonely but idk it tracks!!! Please tell me more!
